Hauck Aufhäuser Investment Banking Upgrades Jenoptik After Earnings
Investment banking firm Hauck Aufhäuser Investment Banking has upgraded its rating for Jenoptik following the release of the company's latest financial results.
The upgrade, which was announced on August 20, 2024, comes after Jenoptik reported strong financial performance for the second quarter of 2024. The company's revenue and earnings both exceeded analyst expectations, driven by growth in its optoelectronics and life science divisions.
In a research note, Hauck Aufhäuser analyst Stefan Augustin said that the upgrade reflects Jenoptik's "strong execution" and "positive outlook." Augustin also cited the company's recent acquisition of Berliner Glas, which is expected to further strengthen its position in the life science market.
Hauck Aufhäuser now rates Jenoptik as "buy" with a price target of €32.00. The previous rating was "hold."
